Oksana arrived in Ireland in 2022, a refugee of the war in Ukraine. She found a home and a community in the village of Glaslough in County Monaghan. She received her art and design education in Lviv, Ukraine. She hid her abilities for many years while working and raising 3 wonderful children, often under difficult circumstances. Upon finding her new home, she resumed painting. She now paints prolifically and develops her craft. She enthusiastically entertains ideas for new subjects and motifs from her friends and admirers of her work.
